photo by Lavinia Elysia Hey everyone! Guess what? We had a surprise crowd at today's sketch meetup! 8 awesome people showed up, which was way more than I expected. This was my first time at Shinjuku Gyoen, and wow, it's like a giant lullaby in park form. First thing I did was plop down on that huge lawn like a beached starfish. I could've easily napped for hours before even thinking about sketching! Even when I finally got started, this little voice kept whispering in my head: "Sleep… sleep… sleep…"  Seriously, if you're ever feeling sleep-deprived, this park is the cure. Sunshine, fresh air, and instant recharge guaranteed!  And a huge welcome to our newest member, Ayumu-san from Nepal!  He's not only our international friend, but also a super talented architect. We already know he's gonna be a rockstar in this group!  Can't wait to see what amazing things he sketches in 2024!  Who else got some park sketching therapy today?  Check out more detail
