Quick sketch gathering with San Diego sketcher, Taka

Image
By Taka-san's call we met in Ningyocho and have two-hour sketch session before having drinking. In the first half time, unlike usual, we lined up in front of a nostalgic looking sushi shop, and captured it. we usually scatter around and each one draw different subject but this time we drew same building from almost same standing point. It is interesting to see how everyone depicted it. What diversity our result has! I drew this with ballpoint pens for a change. In the second half time we visited Suitengu shrine. This place is popular among young women and couples who are wishing babies and healthy/ easy delivery. Dogs are symbol to easy delivery. These dogs heads are so well rubbed that they are so shiny. Taka-san also invited new participant, Yusuke-san.
