ネコの島へ行って、無邪気なネコたちと遊びたい。 2018年8月26日　移動日 いつものように、青春１８きっぷでの節約旅行なので、東京駅を早朝５時２０分の普通列車で発つ、東海道線を乗り継ぎ、１４時頃大阪に着く、１７時頃大阪を出れば、今日の目的地の高松には２０時代には着けるようなので、少し観光。大阪城を眺めてきました。   スケッチもそこそこに、さらに旅を続け、高松では一泊3,500円のおんぼろホテルに泊まりましたが、丸一日電車に乗り続け疲れて、缶ビール飲んですぐに寝てしまいました。   8月27日　男木島へ 昨年も訪れた「ネコの島」男木島に渡ります。高松港からフェリー「めおん２」に乗り込みます。     途中、女木島を経由して、約４０分の航海で男木島に到着。 斜面に民家がへばりつくように立ち並ぶ風景は、スケッチ欲をそそるものがあります。   それにしても、今年はネコをあまり見かけない。 去年は結構見かけたのにな。   何匹かは見かけたのですが、夏の真昼間ですから、日陰でお昼寝してる子ばかり。      集落の一番上にある神社（豊玉姫神社）から、瀬戸内海を眺めながら一時間半くらいスケッチ。ここからの眺めは本当に素晴らしい。             8月28日　佐栁島へ 旅三日目は、香川県多度津の沖に浮かぶもう一つのネコの島、佐栁(さなぎ）島を目指します。早朝の電車で多度津まで行き、徒歩20分ほど行ったところにあるフェリー乗り場から、佐栁島へ渡ります。   造船所が立ち並ぶ、多度津の港を抜け、高見島を経由して１時間弱で佐栁島に到着。 上陸すると、さっそくネコがお出迎えしてくれました。   ここは島中ネコネコの島でした。 スケッチ中も足元にネコ。。。。       ネコが来た。 廃屋とネコ     来年も行きたいネコ島、できれば移住して毎日ネコとぐうたら寝ていたい。     帰りのフェリーから虹が見えました。きっといい ことある。        

I was a lucky participant of the Asia-Link Sketchwalk in Taichung, Taiwan in 2018. When I go there, Kumi introduced her friend Elaine, who lives in Taichung. She kindly met me and introduced her friend Claire to get to Taomi, where I wanted to go to see eco-village's frogs after the Sketh-Link. So, thanks to these people it became a sketch exchange in the famous eco-village Taomi , Puli Township, Taiwan.  ←With Elaine Jean on the first day of Sketch-Link in Taichung Claire picked me up in Puli and made a favor to me, introducing her hometown and friends. My goal was to see the frogs, for which the Taomi village is famous, so we go to Frog Grandma's hostel together with the local sketchers group. There we sketched the garden of the Grandma. It was full of flowers and butterflies. The leader of the sketching group is the oldest sketcher in Puli. His name is Sun Shao-Ying (or Sun Sensei, how the group called him). 今日、岩瀬の山で、２つの木が無くなりました。この木に、愛着があります。人間だからかも、森から一つの木と親しくなって、思い出作って、無くなった、悲しむ。さよなら。 一年前、昨日、今日、スケッチを書きました。 Farewell to the trees on the mountain in Iwase A week ago a neighbor told me that this is a big tree, and the smaller tree attached to it will be cut down. Their roots destroy the foundation of the house nearby, and the owner, without hesitation, decided to cut them. These trees are my old acquaintances. I see them every time I go upstairs. There is something special about them, their singularity has created an aura of attention around them. Their color is different, I like to look at it. In the warm setting sun, in the afternoon, on a clear day. Blue, with orange coming out from under the bark, and brown, with greenish veins. The color of mushroom hats? And what a texture they have! みなさんはなにかスケッチのテーマを決めていますか。風景？人物？静物？気まま？私も気ままに散歩しながらスケッチをしていますが、なんかモチベーションが上がるようなテーマがあればと考えていました。 そんなとき、新聞で東海道を歩いて旅をする人が、日本人に限らず増えているという記事を読み、これはと思いました。まず思い浮かべたのが歌川広重の浮世絵で、現代の場所だと、どう変わっているんだろう。じゃ、行って見て気ままに描いてみようと、というわけで「一人で勝手に企画！東海道五十三次を描いてみよう。」を始めてみます。完全不定期です。いつ終わるかもわかりませんが、優しい目で見ていただけたら幸いです。 The 53 stations of the Tokaido Road means Edo-Kyoto highway in Edo-period and There were mainly 53 stations. (It is difficult for me to explain it in English. If you want to know it, I recommend you search it by google.) These stations are famous for Ukiyoe painted by Hiroshige Utagawa in Edo-period. I would like to see and sketch how this place is changed now. First, Nihonbashi as the starting point. I sketched at Starbucks Coffee. You sketch it at the terrace while you can drink a cup of coffee. ここ数年で、度々描いてきた渋谷駅前の光景。最初は一人で。2010年、夜景。 ２度目はRichard Almarが東京に来ていた時。2014年、昼間。 ３度目はJohanna Krimmelと、ハロウィーンの頃、2017年、夜景。 ４度目はStephanie Bowerと、イタリア、ドイツから来ていたゲストスケッチャーも交えての総勢１５名が集まってのスケッチ会で。2018年、夜景。

今週末松戸秋葉神社まつりに参加しました。 お神輿を持ちながら、松戸三丁目東を回りました。 踊りながら、歌いながら進むのは、楽しかった！ 日本のまつりが好きです。 Past weekend I became a full participant of the local festival and carried Omikosi along with everyone for the first time. I felt united with everyone around me, it made me happy. On the photo, our team from Iwase Neighbourhood, who came to help to carry Omikosi in the area of the festival Higashi-san-cho-me. Festival is a chance to meet and chat. We change clothes in the tatami room. Everyone is wearing the festival special clothes: wide jackets with the name of the city and shrine on the front and big signs “祭” on the back. + Long belt, a little pouch, and head towel. Traditional shoes with “2fingers” also desirable.  Festival backstage - women are cooking the food and chatting in the inner room, where the altar for the Shinto God is made with the sacrificial offerings: fruits, vegetables, sake, and rice cakes.
