上野国立科学博物館スケッチイベントの報告です。Puttiさんを含む22+人が参加し、新しい顔にも出会えて嬉しかったです。 博物館内にはスケッチの素材がたくさんあり、4時間では全てを描ききることが難しかったです。全てを見て、興味を持ったものを描くには一日が必要かもしれません。 再度、参加してくれたみなさん、ありがとうございます！次回のスケッチミートアップでお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。 I'm thrilled that we had 22+ participants (including Putti-san, who joined later) and had the pleasure of meeting a few new faces. The museum offers an abundance of fascinating subjects to sketch, and it was challenging to cover everything within the allotted 4 hours. I believe a whole day would be needed to explore and sketch all the intriguing exhibits. Thanks again to everyone for joining! photo by Lavinia Elysia Hey everyone! Guess what? We had a surprise crowd at today's sketch meetup! 8 awesome people showed up, which was way more than I expected. This was my first time at Shinjuku Gyoen, and wow, it's like a giant lullaby in park form. First thing I did was plop down on that huge lawn like a beached starfish. I could've easily napped for hours before even thinking about sketching! Even when I finally got started, this little voice kept whispering in my head: "Sleep… sleep… sleep…"  Seriously, if you're ever feeling sleep-deprived, this park is the cure. Sunshine, fresh air, and instant recharge guaranteed!  And a huge welcome to our newest member, Ayumu-san from Nepal!  He's not only our international friend, but also a super talented architect. なぜか、1月、2月と同じ服装でも3月の柔らかな光の中の方が我慢できない寒さを感じてしまう、寒いならちゃんと寒い方がむしろ体がポカポカしなきゃと頑張ってくれるような気がします。そんな中、うすら寒い日であったけれど大勢が集まったUSK Japanの定期スケッチ会。歩行者天国の様子をそれぞれの視点、タッチで描いてみると、やはりそれぞれ面白い魅力があるものです。 ２時間の屋外スケッチの後は早々にHUBに避難するように向かい、そこでゆったりとDrink and Drawの時間となりました。たくさんスケッチ道具を携えていったのですが、結局その日は小さいサイズ２枚を描いて自分は終了としました。

今年も残り少なくなりました。私個人で出かけたところを除き、スケッチ会として仲間と集まった場所をその時のスケッチ画とともに振り返ってみようと思います。 The year of 2018 will be end soon.
