The other day, I hopped on a late night train back home.  Usually, during the day, people are more aware of themselves and it is very difficult to pull out a sketchbook and start drawing them. But it was a weekend late night train, people are all feeling somewhat detached and were minding their own businesses so it was the perfect opportunity!! As I was a bit tipsy myself, my left brain kept quiet so I guess that helped me to draw more natural? loose? organic lines than I usually do? このあいだ、終電間際の電車にてスケッチをしてみました。 週末の夜遅くの車内の雰囲気は日中のそれとはまた違い、独特の脱力感というんでしょうか？開放感？に溢れています。 誰もが自分のこと以外には意識を回さないというか、警戒感や自意識的な物が薄れているのがよく分かります。 こちらも少しお酒が入っていたので、普段なら少し意識しつつスケッチする所、そこまで意識過剰にならずに、ダダダーーーッとメモするかのようにペンを走らせました。「上手く描こう」という意識がなくなった状態でのスケッチは、後で見直しても楽しいです。   目の前に座っていた人たち、僕は立ってスケッチしました。みなさん携帯に夢中ですね。 ppl sitting in front of me while I stood and drew.
