第二宿、川崎です。 30年近く関東地方に住んでいますが、初めてJR川崎駅に来ました。川崎にも交流館があり、ここは三階建でかなり詳しい展示で、スタッフの方にいろんなことを教えていただきました。ちなみに広重の絵（保栄堂版）は全て西向きに描いているらしく、川崎宿も多摩川の向こう岸から描いているそうです。また、多言語にも対応されているので外国人の方も楽しめます。その展示室の一部に江戸時代のコスプレをして撮影できる場所もありました。 This is the second station, Kawasaki-jyuku. I got off the  JR Kawasaki station for the first time although I have lived in the Kanto region for about 30 years. There is a information center which has various displays and competent staff in Kawasaki city.  At first, I visited there and I learned about the history of Kawasaki. She said Hiroshige Utagawa painted all the paintings from the west side. Also foreigners can use it because it supports multiple languages. A sketcher and frecuente visitor to Japan, Olve from Norway; and students from China, Joker and from Malaysia, Boonhaw; a traveler from Italy, Antonio; and a few local sketchers met in Shinjuku. We visited Shinjuku-gyoen park. It was unusually warm day and even we found sakura blossoms were in full bloom. The park always welcome sketchers like us with its vast space, different kinds of lots of vegetations.. So many different expressions we can see season to season.. But the park close so early.. We had to leave at 16:30. I always wished if we could have stayed a bit longer to see twilight scene... Then we headed to Izakaya Pub to have some light meal, quenched the thirst from daytime walking. 日本大好きノルウェー人のOlveさんがまた東京にいる間に新宿で開催されていたラーメンのお祭りに行きがてら、またスケッチ会を新宿御苑で行い、先日のスケッチクロールにも参加してくれたマレーシアから来ているBoonhauさんとそのクラスメイトの中国から来ているJokerさん、イタリアから来ているAntonioさん、それからMomokoさんと久々に参加されたTaizoさんと、集まり、よく食べよく歩きよく喋った1日でした。

This is the first station, Shinagawa-jyuku. Hiroshige Utagawa wrote the picture which showed the sea on the left side and the road on the right side. Of course, nowadays we can’t see the sea.  I visited the information center. I asked a staff where Hiroshige had drew from. She answered he did not draw in this place, it seems that he drew around Sengakuji. However, she taught me a neighborhood anchorage. There was a quiet and I became feeling calm.  第一宿、品川です。 北品川の駅を降り、旧東海道に入りました。広重の絵では左側に海、右側に道がありますが、現在は当然のことながら海は見えません。時折、懐かしい古い店を見ながら通りを進み、品川宿交流館という案内所を訪れました。そこを入ると駄菓子屋（？）で店の方に色々お話を聞くと、広重の絵はどうやら泉岳寺あたりから描いたもので品川ではないらしいです。 とはいえ、この辺りに海が見えるところをと聞くと、品川浦船だまりを教えてくれました。行ってみるとなんとなく広重の絵に近い構図が取れそうだったので描いてみました。 ここは屋形船やプレジャーボートの停泊地で、穏やかなところでした。 There is the Shinaumi Park in the middle of the shopping street. 昨日11月3日(土)、立教大学池袋キャンパスに集まり、学園祭St. Paul Festivalが開催されるなかスケッチ会を行いました。USK Japanに参加して日の浅い新人スケッチャーですが、初めてこのような集まりを企画し、素敵なスケッチャーの方々とご一緒できてとても楽しかったです。こうしてブログを書くのも初めてなのですが、スケッチ会の様子をここで簡単に紹介できればと思います。 On November 3rd, we had a sketch meet-up at the Ikebukuro Campus of Rikkyo University, where they had a school fest called St. Paul Festival on the same day. Though I'm very new to USK Japan, I planned this gathering and I'm very happy a bunch of inspiring sketchers joined me. ネコの島へ行って、無邪気なネコたちと遊びたい。 2018年8月26日　移動日 いつものように、青春１８きっぷでの節約旅行なので、東京駅を早朝５時２０分の普通列車で発つ、東海道線を乗り継ぎ、１４時頃大阪に着く、１７時頃大阪を出れば、今日の目的地の高松には２０時代には着けるようなので、少し観光。大阪城を眺めてきました。   スケッチもそこそこに、さらに旅を続け、高松では一泊3,500円のおんぼろホテルに泊まりましたが、丸一日電車に乗り続け疲れて、缶ビール飲んですぐに寝てしまいました。   8月27日　男木島へ 昨年も訪れた「ネコの島」男木島に渡ります。高松港からフェリー「めおん２」に乗り込みます。     途中、女木島を経由して、約４０分の航海で男木島に到着。 斜面に民家がへばりつくように立ち並ぶ風景は、スケッチ欲をそそるものがあります。   それにしても、今年はネコをあまり見かけない。 去年は結構見かけたのにな。   何匹かは見かけたのですが、夏の真昼間ですから、日陰でお昼寝してる子ばかり。      集落の一番上にある神社（豊玉姫神社）から、瀬戸内海を眺めながら一時間半くらいスケッチ。ここからの眺めは本当に素晴らしい。             8月28日　佐栁島へ 旅三日目は、香川県多度津の沖に浮かぶもう一つのネコの島、佐栁(さなぎ）島を目指します。早朝の電車で多度津まで行き、徒歩20分ほど行ったところにあるフェリー乗り場から、佐栁島へ渡ります。   造船所が立ち並ぶ、多度津の港を抜け、高見島を経由して１時間弱で佐栁島に到着。 上陸すると、さっそくネコがお出迎えしてくれました。   ここは島中ネコネコの島でした。 スケッチ中も足元にネコ。。。。       ネコが来た。 廃屋とネコ     来年も行きたいネコ島、できれば移住して毎日ネ...
