We had the same one in May." Oh no, that's wrong. Yokohama has different attractions. 基本的にあまり外出しない派に属するボクです。 特に用事がない限り、休みの日は家でボーッとしながらコーヒーを飲んでいます。 Basically speaking, I am a very indoor person. I don't really go out that much if I don't need to.  On a day off, I usually stay home drinking coffee thinking about nothing. でも、たまに仕事なんかで変なところへ行ったりしますよね？池袋とか（笑） いや、池袋なんてボクからしたら仕事がない限り行かない場所なのです（笑） とりあえず（笑）でごまかしています。 But sometimes you need to go out to a strange place like Ikebukuro for work. LOL. Well, to me, Ikebukuro is some place you don't usually go to except when you have a work to do. みなさんこんにちは！ 先日の下北沢スケッチ会、楽しかったですか？ 僕も行く気満々ですっごく楽しみにしてたんです。 先月のすみジャズも盛り上がったし、その前の麻布十番だって新しいメンバーと打ち上げで楽しかったし。そういう楽しい記憶って、危険なクスリみたいに効いてきて、今回の下北沢もさぞ楽しくなるだろう！と、ウキウキでした。 How is everyone doing? Did you guys enjoy last month's Sketch Outing in Shimokitazawa? 台風の季節ということもあり、お天気が心配された9月のスケッチ会。直前まで雨予報が出ていましたが、蓋を開けてみたら、あらびっくり、いつも以上によく晴れ、暑い夏の一日が戻ってきました。 Since we have a lot of rain and even typhoons around this time of year, we were worried about the weather on the day of our September meet-up. The forecast said it was going to rain the previous day. But we were blessed with good weather again. It was sunny and hot, and even felt like summer was back. 先日、仕事で金沢まで行ってきた。 地理的センスゼロなので、車で金沢まで行って欲しい、という依頼があったとき、何も考えず「イイッスヨ」とか言っちゃった。出発数日前にググったら所要時間６時間ちょっとって出てビックリした。 The other day, I visited Kanazawa for work. Having literally zero geographic sense, when I was asked to drive to Kanazawa, I said "sure!".  However, when I googled the route and it said it takes 6 hours and a bit, I was like Uh, oh... そんなワケで、つりやゴルフへ行く人みたいに４時半とかに起きて出発さ！ 行けども行けども続く道、いやぁ、ひたすら走ってるはずなのに、時計を見るとまだ７時半とか。はぁ！？時間おかしくないか？！って。 So anyway, I woke up around 4:30am just like CEO of Apple and started driving! Felt like driving for hours but the clock said it's still 7:30am and I was like Whattt?! Is Time distorted?!  まぁ、そんな事はいいや。 Anyway... 金沢に到着して驚いたのは、その活気！！ １０年くらい前にも仕事で来た事があったんだけど、その時は全然盛ってない田舎町だった記憶があって。でも2015年に北陸新幹線が開通してから劇的に変わったみたい。駅も観光客だらけ！滞在したホテルも外国人観光客ばかり！！土地から出るエネルギーみたいなものが、全く別物でした。 仕事で行っているので観光する時間はなかったけど、ホテルのラウンジが予想外にいい雰囲気。まるで外国のホテルみたいだったので、ビールなんか飲みつつスケッチをしました。 The thing that struck me the most when I arrived ...

みなさんもう既に 久美サン や 桃子サンの記事 を 読んだとは思いますが、遅ればせながら僕のレポートです。しかしあの楽しかった「すみジャズ」が、もう２週間も前の出来事になるなんて正直信じられませ ん。 ホントに暑かったけど、最高に楽しかったあの時間！！そんな時間を、スケッチを愛する仲間たちと過ごせたなんて、本当に快感でしかなかったね。 I'm sure you have read Kumi and Momoko's report already but... here's my report on Sumida Street Jazz Festival sketch outing the other day.   It's just crazy how FUN time flies so fast!!  Can't believe it was almost 2 weeks ago that we had this blast time at Sumida Street Jazz Festival!  It was really HOT but it was extremely FUN!
